Jason M. Peterson
Jason M. Peterson, age 29, of Isanti passed away suddenly October 31, 2003 in Burnsville.
Jason Marvin Peterson was born December 13, 1973 at Cambridge, Minnesota to Robert and Carmella Peterson. He graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in 1992 and from St. Cloud State University in 2001. Jason was active in his parish at St. Paul Cathedral and looked forward to his upcoming wedding in May. Our Lord and Savior was his strength as he fought the complications of Type I diabetes. Jason touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
Jason is survived by his fiancée, Jennifer Schlagel of Burnsville; parents, Robert and Carmella Peterson of Isanti; brothers, Jeff and his wife Jean of Minneapolis, Tim and his wife Debby of Isanti, Scott and his wife Sheri of Isanti; and sister, Kari Halvorson and her husband Mark of Andover. He adored his nieces and nephews, Aisha, Jarett, Zach, Jake, Mike, Ashley and Brittni; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Vera Peterson, John and Elizabeth VanHeel; and special cousin, Karla Schuette.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti with Fr. Frank Tomasiewicz, Fr. Richard McGuire and Fr. Joseph Williams as celebrants. Musicians are to be Gail Genin and Leona Jacques. Pallbearers are to be Jeff, Tim, Scott, Zach, Jake and Mike Peterson, and Keri and Mark Halvorson. Interment will be in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery in Cambridge. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.
