Vivian Isabel Verona (Olson) Peterson
Vivian died Friday, 12 December 2003, at Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge, Minnesota. Vivian was born 20 August 1909 in Maple Ridge Township. Her parents were J. (John) August and Anna (Oslund) Olson. Vivian attended school in Day and Braham and teacher’s training in Cambridge. She taught school in Isanti County. Vivian and Len Peterson were married 2 March 1935 in Minneapolis. They lived in the Lewis Lake area. Three children were born to them: HelenAnn, Ronald, and Johnny. Following the death of Len in 1987, Vivian moved to Park Manor in Braham. Vivian is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Len; son, Johnny, son-in-law, Doug; brothers, Wallace and Wilmer; and sister-in-law, Odella. Vivian is survived by daughter, HelenAnn; son, Ronald; daughter-in-law, Anne; six grandchildren, Rick Peterson, Cindy Erikson, Chris Ann Johnson, Deborah Peterson, Ann Marie Johnson and David Johnson; three great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Margaret; cousins; nephews; nieces; and other relatives. A public service celebrating the life of Vivian will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, 21 December 2003, at Siloa Lutheran Church in Maple Ridge. Memorials will be given to the Greater Day Activity Center, Mora. |
